    Ok, some people are saying that this was too harsh and a real redneck means of disciplining his daughter.

    Me, I fully support his actions.

    Most teenagers don’t pay for HALF the shit they own (if they do, high five to them.) So when your mother or father asks you to clean the fucking house, CLEAN THE MOTHERFUCKING HOUSE!!! One day you are going to grow up and realize that it is expensive to live as comfortably as you do! Nothing is free! No one gave your parents the house you live in, they EARNED IT! Electricity and water don’t come with the house IT IS PAID FOR REGULARLY! Food doesn’t magically appear in the fridge, SOMEONE GOES TO THE GROCERY STORE FOR IT! And on top of that, you have nice toys like laptops and cell phones. Think of how many hours of work it takes to pay for all that! The next time your mother and father ask you to do something for them, think about the fact that everything you see around you came out of their pockets. Not yours. If you want to have a life, you have to pay for it.

    Yes, kid, you deserved bullets in your laptop for being a selfish fucking brat. I am sure (well, at least I hope) you have learned your lesson by now. All these things that have been given to you can easily be taken away and there is nothing you can do about it as long as you continue having the attitude you do. Now shut the fuck up and do the fucking dishes.

    Not trying to start an argument… seriously, I have zero desire to argue with you. Though I must say, when I first saw this video I did a fair amount of digging on this guy. When he posted it to facebook, he responded to the initial comments frequently. When some people said things like ‘why not sell the laptop?’ he responded that the girl had actually bought the laptop herself with her own money and to sell it would have been making a profit off of her work and property which he thought would have been wrong. Although he did put money into the laptop, he did not buy it for her. She paid for it herself the first time around.

    Secondly, although I do agree the kid was being a brat and I know most people have been saying that she deserved it, if you really think about it- she is a 15 year old girl. Her crime was just doing what teenagers do by being a little lazy whiny bitch. That is one of the many shitty things that all kids do. All of them. Every single one of them will complain or think their life is hard or do/say something rebellious at one point or another. Also, If she hid the post from her parents, I wonder how exactly they found it to get pissed off in the first place. Sounds like a violation of privacy to me. I’ve definitely written down some self absorbed shit in a diary/ private journal type thing as a hormonal teen.

    He states that she’s going to be grounded indefinitely and given a much harder and larger workload. This is appropriate. He has publicly humiliated her in a fashion that millions are actually seeing. It does serve as an example to others, but I’m still not sure if her crime warranted that. Shooting the laptop was absurd. He could have donated it to someone who really needed it. Or he could have sold it for whatever amount of money he wanted her to pay him back, especially since she paid for the laptop herself.

    I’m sure this man felt justified and I’m aware that a lot of people are solidly behind him, I just wonder what kind of punishment he’ll have to dole out when she stays out too late or brings home a black man.
